Went back for the weekend for Qing Ming festival. Surprisingly, it's almost like the Chinese New Year gathering, everyone was back! It was great! Went for some ever so cheap "oh-luak-jien", "sotong kangkong" and bbq chicken wings. Guess what? It costs the 6 of us less than RM5 each with all these and a LARGE mug of fruit juice.
Reached BP on Saturday morning 5am, which was really tiring considering I had not been sleeping this late for almost a year now. Hence, the conclusion is a ever-painful pimple popped up. Ok ok, enough of the craps. Who cares if I have a pimple on my face. Anyway, on Saturday I definitely slept till 2pm in the evening, which means half of my day was wasted on sleep already. Did nothing much and went out for the yummilicious cheap food at night with friends at the "Hai-ki", in Hokkien it means seaside. But actually, it's just a riverside. I wonder why it was called the "hai-ki" at first place. Then we proceed to the real seaside called the "Minyak Beku". Or more commonly known in our herd, "MB". Stayed there and enjoyed the twinkling stars, the soothing rythm of the waves and catching up with friends on some foolish jokes until 3am.
On Sunday, which is the tomb-raiding cleaning day, I had to wake up as early as 6am. But of course, with such lil' sleep, my mum will have to go through some nagging and screaming to get me up and awake. Did the tomb cleaning and proceed to some not-so-nice-anymore "Bah Kut Teh" at 9am. Continued my sleep after that.
In the afternoon, went to a old coffee shop for some "Fish Ball Noodle". It's different from what you get in KL. "Fish Ball Noodle" at home is dry and not the soupy type in KL. While having our noodles, only did we realise that kopitiam is actually a den for illegal gambling on horse race. All those "ah pek" with stacks of cash on their hands counting money. The environment was too chaotic that we eventually have to move our conversation to the nice cafe behind the kopitiam.
At night, due my malas mum who don't want to cook with such low head counts, my parents brough me to this new Thai restaurant in town near the old "Tabung Haji" building. Never expect with KLCC standard taste of Thai food would exist in BP. The food is really ala Thai. The sourness and spicy-ness is definitely Thai, which we could only taste it in Thailand, or we have actually tasted it all the times we went to Haadyai.
Then now is the boring part, took in the trip home by Choo's fiery Kenari and reached KL at 12am. Went for some tea till 1am. Go home wash clothes (if not I will not have clothes to wear) and went to bed at 3am. And now, I'm sleepy...
