Better offer

Recently, not long ago I was offered a job with a 42.85% increase in salary just opposite my current company. After much consideration and their reluctantness to offer me a 60% increase, I turned them down.

When I told friends about this, I was actually scolded and blamed for being greedy and "lansi". Actually, it's not the pay that really matters. It's the development opportunities for me in that company. I'm actually kind of happy when they can't give the requested amount. If they do, I will be tempted to go to a job that I might earn more, learn less and never move up.

Still, I know what's my market value now. Hehehe...
