Ah Long Pte Ltd is Singapore movie directed by Jack Neo. Extremely hilarious. It's a movie about a male dancing instructor (Mark Lee) who married a female triad leader (Fann Wong) without knowing what he is getting into. Hence, when the name of this movie is translated directly into chinese, it means "Teacher Married a Triad Leader".
The script which includes Mandarin, Hokkien, Cantonese and even one bit of Hakka is sure gonna make you laugh till you drop. Two things that surprises me about this movie is the actors/actresses and the filming location. Have you guess it yet? It's Malaysia. Yah, even the supporting cast are mainly Malaysian actors/actresses. And of coz what would a triad movie without our favourite Kuala Lumpur triad's hangout place, which is Petaling Street (chi cheong kai).So, be sure to watch it.
Warning: It won't be as funny and hilarious if you don't understand Hokkien even if you understand mandarin.
